Although these tips lean more towards ad creation, they can be easily adapted for improving organic content as well. From stressing the importance of ‘sound-on’ content to highlighting the need for immediate impact in the first couple of seconds, the tips provided are substantial and practically useful.

For instance, one useful tip states that TikTok audiences watch entertaining ads 1.3x longer than ads devoid of entertainment value. So, whether you’re creating ad content or organic posts, integrating entertainment into your content strategy is a surefire way to increase viewer engagement.


Spotlight on the Top Ad Spotlight

The Top Ad Spotlight is another valuable tool you should explore. It showcases the best-performing ads on the platform and delves into why these ads performed exceptionally well, the budget used, and even the number of likes each ad has generated. 

Interestingly, TikTok seems to focus more on ‘likes’ rather than ‘views’, providing another interesting perspective to evaluate ad performance. You can dig deeper into these featured ads by clicking on ‘see analysis’, giving you an understanding of what works and what doesn’t on TikTok.
